Hello there passer-byer,
I'm glad you've stopped on this page. I hope you have come here for information on Dog food and diets. This is about my mission to help a doberman named Titan, check him out here, Titan. He is a working dog who needs food that is going to help him, not hurt. Recently I found out that he has a mild allergy to chicken. The quest to find a food I could afford was on. After a few weeks of searching I found nothing. I could buy pre-made raw diet food, that would end up costing me over $100 a month. So I searched around and found out I could make him food. I can control what's in it. I really liked the idea. Especially considering even most red meat based kibble, still has chicken meal in it. So I was recently at a pet event and asked a vet about going homemade. She told me to just go buy the pre-made stuff. So now sense I have no where else to turn I'm going to research. I'm mostly making this blog for two reasons. One, to track my data and information that I obtain. Secondly to share my findings with other's who are asking the same questions.
Here is an overview of topics that I hope to cover in this quest for information.
1. What nutrition does a dog need to live a happy and healthy life.
2. What is really in that dry dog food
3. What do all the ingredients do for a dog
4. How can I make mine better.
The list will I'm sure expand and sometimes I will go completely off topic. This is just a guideline.
